When talking about the positive values or virtues, there are so many attributes of them that bring us to the best version of ourselves, and the relation is interconnected with our society as attaining these virtues, we are able to achieve the highest self of being. However, by incorporating and mastering only two positive values which are social justice and wisdom, the rooms of possibility and potential are endless.
Wisdom is not only the ultimate aim of knowledge yet the indicator of our beginning in order to achieve it. In another word, by practicing the attributes of wisdom, by time, we will eventually attain it. Being resourceful or knowledgeable sure does help in pathing our way in this world however being wise alleviates people especially in understanding the full spectrum of perception as perception is the only matter of view of judgment thus history is perception, hence also language. Using wisdom, we not only become open in believing the interpretation of knowledge and language yet creating a fluid foundation of understanding that will help us in mastering our course, without bias and promoting healthy lives and wellbeing for all of all ages that serve well under SDG 3 as wisdom ensures people to live at their fullest with serene well beings.
It is almost impossible to attain a perfect society, where Plato describes it as a utopia due to the fact people are hungry for power corresponding to Hobbes’ state of nature doctrine. However, with the presence of equality and social justice, a society is a step away from living in harmony because these two values uphold people’s rights. Equality and social justice enable everyone, regardless of gender or race, to have the same access without leaving anyone behind in a way that they benefit the educational sector as unlike the last few decades, women and certain races were denied their rights to education. This has directly cultivated people’s interest to explore English linguistics and literature while contributing their knowledge to help expand the field. Furthermore, these two values also coincide with SDG whose aims are to leave no one behind and to eradicate poverty. It calls for everyone’s sense of duty to the world that can only be realised with the presence of equality and social justice. They drive people’s responsibility in achieving those 17 goals that benefit not only society, but also the earth so people in the future are able to live in an almost utopian society.
